THE ACTUARIAL PROFESSION
"We invited Telos to help The Actuarial Profession become more effective, particularly on issues of public policy. Telos helped us to recognise that the primary inefficiency was neither a shortage of good work nor poor communications but the absence of a cohesive and connected management process, spanning volunteers and employed staff. Rather than attempting to impose a solution, which could easily have backfired, Telos provided a framework to guide us through the delicate, complex and often emotive internal political issues that needed to be faced. At a successful meeting of our Councils, facilitated by Telos, support was won for the direction we were going and a widening of the mandate to tackle the management process across the whole profession.
